About Our Systems
High Capacity Internet Connection
High bandwidth, reliability, and redundancy characterize Microserv's Internet connectivity. Microserv connects directly to multiple tier 1 Internet backbone networks in Boise, Salt Lake, and Seattle. By connecting to multiple backbone networks, Microserv can route Internet traffic faster, and through shorter network paths. This multi-homing also provides us with redundant connectivity in the event that one or more Internet backbone networks has difficulty.
Top-Quality Hardware and Facilities
Microserv's connectivity is complimented by state of the art network and server hardware housed in Microserv's Network Operations Center (NOC) in Idaho Falls. This facility houses our servers, routers, and network monitoring equipment. We use the best network server equipment available. Our hardware consists Cisco 12000 series routers and Cisco 3500 series GigE switches utilizing the BGP routing protocol. We use 3Com modems with V.90 56k support. We use redundant Dell blade servers based on Intel processors.
