We have a full workbench area dedicated to carry-in repair. We are able to perform extensive repairs, upgrades, installations, and configurations while keeping the cost at a minimum. Our in-house technicians can clean up virus and spyware damage, as well as help with other software and hardware issues. Microserv can get your PC repaired and back up and running in no time!
Diagnostics fee - $39
Our technicians will give your computer system a thorough checkup to determine what is wrong. Once the issue has been identified you will be contacted and given options on how to proceed. Should you decide to have your system repaired the Diagnostic fee is waived and the appropriate charges listed below will be applied. If you choose to not have the computer repaired you simply owe the $39.00 diagnostic fee.
Tune-UP / Virus Removal - $99 $49 SPECIAL!
Our highly trained personnel will scan your computer with multiple software tools to remove all virus, spyware and malware found on your computer. Critical updates to your protection software will be performed as well as operating system updates to bring your computer current on all known security issues.
Reinstall Operating System - $149 $99 SPECIAL
Should your computers operating system be damaged to the point it no longer functions, our technicians can re-install your operating system to clear off any software issues. Your data will be scanned and backed up, and then restored to your clean system after the operating system has been installed. Your computers hardware drivers and Windows updates will be the latest versions available for the version your computer had installed. Our technicians will also install an anti-virus program to help protect you from future events. Installation of software programs back on to your computer will be billed separately.
Software Installation - $49
If you are in need of having your new software installed let our technicians get the job done right! For $49.00 they will install your new software package and ensure that it is functioning properly, making sure that the necessary updates to your operating system are done so your new software can work as intended. Each additional program is only $29.00.
Hardware Installation / Repair - $49
Do you need a new piece of computer hardware installed? Our technicians will install whatever new components you need into your existing system. Necessary drivers and software are installed during this operation to ensure proper functionality.
Data Backup and/or Transfer - $49
Would you like a backup of your system, or have your data moved to a new computer? Our technicians can backup your data to a DVD or even to another hard drive (hard drive not included). They can also transfer your data to a new computer if you have upgraded to a new system. Please note that transfer of data to a new system does not include the re-installation of software packages needed to access varies data file types.
Our rate is $50 per hour for items outside of those listed.
Microserv will also make every attempt to recover lost data from failed systems. If we cannot recover the data, we will refer the customer to National facilities capable of more in-depth data recovery.*
