Detailed rebuttals of Josh McDowell, as well as rebuttals to the critique - since I reviewed Jim Spencer, a Mormon apostate, who relies rather heavily on Josh McDowell in his biblical researches, I find these links interesting (also the 2 below) as showing the unreliability of McDowell. I don't agree with everything on these links, but provide them as a source to demonstrate how our anti-Mormon friends are researching, rather pathetic.

An atheist view of Christian Fundamentalism..... While indicatory of a non-Christian view of Fundamentalism, I hesitate to say I agree with him all the way here. His critique of Mormonism is so amateurish and idiotically ill-informed, that it is doubtful if much of anything religious from his viewpoint is worth worrying about. I leave this for readers to decide for themselves. I suppose the point is that it isn't only we Mormons who find problems with Fundamentalist Christianity.

Anti-Mormon (Critical Sources)
Yes, I am one, who along with the Prophet Joseph Smith believes that "Only by proving contraries can truth be made manifest." Hence the reason for letting critics have their say also. It is only in opposition that truth can be found. Black verses White, Up verses Down, Cold verses Hot, Mormon verses Anti-Mormon. It is one way to strengthen your testimony or else help weed you out with the tares, to follow our Lord's parable in the New Testament. The wheat and chaff MUST grow up together, to be harvested at the end times. While I do not subscribe to the anti-Mormon views, I seriously and wholeheartedly will defend their rights to present their views, incorrect as they may be, in my opinion.
