Faith Lutheran Church Meet the Pastor

On September 19th, 2004, Phil Meyer was installed as the pastor of Faith Lutheran Church in Pocatello. Phil comes to Pocatello from Moorhead, MN, where he served on staff at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. There, he served as a campus minister to Concordia-Moorhead, and Minnesota State University - Moorhead. In addition to those responsibilities, Phil also served in the area of Education and Worship for Our Redeemer. Prior to moving to the Fargo-Moorhead area, Phil served, in order of most recent to least recent, as the pastor at Crown of Life in Rigby, the Minister of Worship and Education at St. John in Idaho Falls, and as the Program Director at Camp Luther, in Three Lakes, Wisconsin. Phil's experiences in the area of worship and music also gave him the opportunity to serve Hope Lutheran Church in Idaho Falls for a time, and as the leader of Jubilation, a musical team from Idaho Falls that toured around SE Idaho in the late 90's. Phil's wife, Vanessa, is an Electrical Engineer with Portage Environmental in Idaho Falls. Their sons, Dylan (age 8) and Jesse (age 6) attend Grace Lutheran School in Pocatello.
