Historical railroading photos in the Pocatello
area
12/11/99 rev 10/14/05
The pictures presented here are from the collection of Harold "Pete"
Petersen, a charter member of the Pocatello Model Railroad and
Historical Society. Hundreds of UP and OSL photos were made by his
Father, the well-known railroad photographer, Arthur Petersen and by
Pete's Grandfather, Hjalmer Petersen. For hi-rez copies of these and
other photos, e-mail Pete at:

/P We lost our good friend Pete August 09, 1955. Fortunately for the historian and UP fan, his great collection of photos is now in the possession of our friend Thornton Waite, the Idaho railroad historian and author. Waite, who resides nearby, has written numerous articles and books on Idaho railroad history and operations. Contact him for hi-rez copies.
