1. Each puzzle is a recognizable silhouette created from a panel of beautiful urban forest hardwood. So, while other hand cut hardwood jigsaw puzzles are created from plywood, with a piece of artwork attached, a Puzzlesmith puzzle is the artwork.

2. Too beautiful to be shipped or stored in a box, Puzzlesmith puzzles are matted, framed, and ready to be displayed until you are ready for the challenge of the puzzle. (See the Gallery) Or, for a more economical puzzle, order your puzzle in a jar.

3. The silhouettes are accurate depictions of the subject, although the hand cutting process may result in slight deviations.

4. Intricately cut pieces, the absence of the typical straight borders, and the ability to construct each puzzle in either a left-facing or right-facing orientation all contribute to the challenge of the puzzle. Most puzzlers have required 3 to 5 hours to assemble the 75-piece, 16" long Rainbow Trout. (Of course, the more your study the framed puzzle, the less the challenge ought to be.)

Additionally, as each puzzle series is a limited edition, a piece in your puzzle, as well as the matte, is signed, dated, and numbered to clearly identify your puzzle.
