News Flash: The Lighter Side of Sports
The GTI sponsored, Idaho Falls Yankees minor league team opened
their season
last night (5/2/01) with a convincing 24 to 3, 4 inning victory over the
Idaho Falls A's. The GTI Yanks proved unstoppable with their balanced
hitting, pitching and defensive attack. The Yankees next game is Friday
(5/4/01) at 6:00 p.m. at the Community Park southeast field, located
southeast of the 25th Street/Holmes Avenue intersection. Come out and
support your company team! These 9 and 10 year old players really
appreciate the support you provide!
April 18, 2001 Global Technologies, Inc. was awarded the "2001
Northwest Region Contractor of the Year" by the Small Business
Administration at the Idaho Governor's Business Opportunity Conference in
Boise, ID.
April 5th, 2001- Dr. Francis Tsang,
President of GTI, receives two awards at the "Broadening Business
Horizons" convention in Idaho Falls, hosted
by INEEL Economic Development and Supply Chain Management, co-hosted by
the Department of Energy-Idaho Operations Office, Idaho Innovation Center,
Idaho Small Business Development Center, and Regional Development
Alliance.
