Supported:

• Department of Energy (DOE) on the Highly Enriched Uranium Vulnerability Study.
  
• Foreign Nuclear Reactor Safety and Russian Reactor
  Plutonium Inventory and Evaluation.

Investigated:

• The applicability of DOE's environmental restoration and waste
  management technologies for the People's Republic of China, including:
  

  1. Conducting an environmental trend analysis and;
  2. Potential impact assessment on DOE technology development efforts and global competitiveness.
     

• Organized, planned, and led a DOE/NRL-Russia joint environmental expedition to characterize the chemical and nuclear source terms in the potential pathways from land-based sources in the Siberian watersheds.
