Field Office/Site Contractor Programmatic Support
Assisted:
- Department of Energy's (DOE) Idaho Operations
Office in the preparation and review of the Idaho National Engineering and
Environmental (INEEL) High-Level Waste and Facilities Disposition
Environmental Impact Statement.
Performed:
- Independent review of the Fiscal Year 1997 Tank
Waste Focus Area Program Plan for the DOE's Richland Office focusing on
ensuring accurate scope, schedule, and budget definitions.
Provided:
- Activity Based Cost estimates for implementation
of Defense Nuclear Facility Safety Board (DNFSB) Recommendation 94-1 at
Plutonium Finishing Plant (PFP), including:
- Assistance with the development of the Site
Integrated Stabilization Management Plan schedule for DNFSB 94-1,
Plutonium vulnerability, and deactivation activities;
- A revised Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and
WBS Dictionary for PFP;
- An updated total Transition Project work scope
estimate that is consistent with the revised WBS and with the Project
Hanford Activity Based Cost Estimating Preparation Template.
- Independent detailed cost estimates for out year
projects planned at the PFP, including:
- Facility modifications;
- Infrastructure upgrades; and
- Equipment and system replacements and/or
deactivation.
- Technical services to Lockheed Martin Idaho
Technologies Co. to develop a standardized site-wide inventory process for
waste containers and effluent release points.
- Cost and Schedule estimating support to Fluor
Daniel Northwest, Inc. for the Hanford TWRS waste feed deliveries project
specific to the readiness to precede planning.
