The Authors


Colleen Peterson

Colleen Peterson received her B.A. degree from Utah State University in Communications and English. She is a ten year member of the adjunct faculty at Ricks college where she teaches composition courses. She is a co-author of   Shared Bond, Unshared Belief , a fictional, clinical novel, which was published in l997. She and her co-author, Sherie Faerber, have given many presentations in stakes and wards sharing the clinical aspects of their book under the title "Loving Family Members Who Struggle With Their Faith." She was an annual presenter at Ricks College's Homemaking Conferences, teaching classes in "Family Communication" and "Financial Management." She is a presenter at Ricks College Education Week where she teaches classes on "Loving Family Members Who Struggle With Their Faith," and "Gaining an Eternal Perspective in Family Communication." She speaks frequently at youth conferences on "Using the Scriptures to Solve Personal and Family Problems," "Learning to Live by the Spirit," and "Gaining an Eternal Perspective in Family Communication."

She and her husband, Henry, have four children, sixteen grandchildren and reside in Idaho Falls, Idaho.



Sherie Faerber

Sherie Faerber, a free lance writer, was recently honored for her manuscript writing and presentations for abused children. She was a finalist for the Golden Rule Community Service Award. She was awarded the Idaho State Victim's Services Volunteer of the Year and Volunteer of the Year for Help Incorporated. She received the Kristine Boozer award for her work with abused children. She writes and presents puppet shows in school districts throughout Idaho.

She is a co-author of  "Shared Bond, Unshared Belief"  a fictional, clinical novel which was published in 1997. She and her co-author, Colleen Peterson, have given many presentations in stakes and wards, sharing the clinical aspects of their book. She has served in various church positions, including Relief Society President and teacher, Primary counselor and teacher, and Stake Genealogical Extractor.   She is currently serving as ward Teacher Development leader.

She and her husband, John, have eight children, eleven grandchildren and reside in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
