
This beautiful location gave family members the opporuntity to play golf, slide tall slides,fly on a zipline, get wet on the water slide or simply relax in the shade.
Family History displays and a family store were set up in the old Granite School House.
The first major event of the reunion was a family temple session at the Idaho Falls Temple. Lovell family members managed to fill the session.
After supper the Parsons Family, group of professional old time fiddlers, put on a special program for the family.
A bonfire and sing along ended the evening.
Many people choose to stay overnight in their campers or in tents.
Early Saturday morning golfers were on the links participating in a golf scramble organized by Gary Brown
Interested family members took a hayride tour of the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery, and local family history spots
Iris Cook had games and activities for youth of all ages. There was something to do for everyone.
Excellent barbequed hamburgers made the foundation for the noontime meal. If anyone left hungry it was their own fault.
After lunch a program was held. Steve Parry started the program off with his version of cowboy songs. Family history was Family History was discussed and family business conducted.
Rain caused the program to be moved in doors where the video on the life of John Lovell could more easily be seen. An auction was held to raise money for further family history research
As a result of this reunion many new friendships were formed and a special closeness was developed as members of the Lovell family.
