DIED
In Lancaster, on the 19th inst. Mrs. Maria Fulford, daughter of Deac. Platt Wakely, formerly from Oneida county, aged 34. Mrs. Fulford was for several years a member of the Presbyterian church; much esteemed in all the relations of life; and, while her loss is deeply felt by her family and numerous friends, they are consoled by the cheering hope that death to her was unspeakable gain. During her protracted illness she manifested calm submission, and when the scene of parting came, her faith raised her above the fear of death and enabled her to depart in peace. "O, death, where is thy sting: O, grave, where is thy victory?"
