Daniel is called a husbandman and appeared in the town of Dedham, Mass.,
about the year 1652, having purchased land on the 30 March that year. He was
received into full communion in the Dedham church 8:11:1653. He was one of
the Selectment of the town in 1660. In 1661 the southern portion of Dedham was
set off into a separate township called Wrentham and he immediately became an
owner of real estate there, obtaining a grant of Lot No. 15 as early as 22
March 1662/3. He probably never lived in Wrentham. He was a Lieutenant of

Simon Tuttle (or Symon Tootill) died in England in 1630, and his widowIsabel and his children emigrated to New England in 1635. Simon'sfather-in-law John Wells "mentioned Isabel in his will in 1618. Symon wasmentioned in his father's will in 1589 and in that of his father-in-lawin 1618. The will of John Wells also named all four of his Tuttlegrandsons. Symon was supervisor of the will of Matthew Harris ofWoodford, 05 Nov 1600. His own will was proved at Northampton. His widowaccompanied her sons on the Planter in 1635, but no record of her hasbeen seen in this country, and probably she did not long survive."
