Gregory was baptized at Great Bromley, Essex, then called Much Bromley, in
1592. He came to this country about 1635. His brother Simon and family are
recorded as passengers on the ship "Increase" (Apr 1635). He was a member of
the First Church and one of its deacons, admitted freeman at the same time as
his brother, Simon, 1636, a representative in 1638, appears on every important
Committee, and was one of the proprietors of Watertown. His will was made in

John Bulard was at Watertown, 1636, was one of the original signers of
the Dedham compact and came to the town at its settlement. He took the
freeman's oath in 1640 and at hte settlement of Medfield joined in that
enterprise.
"His house lot was on Main Street, the estate now owned by Mr. Harwood.
His wife Magdalen received into the church in Dedham in 1639. She died
1661...John Bullard was killed in 1678 'by the overthrowing of a cart' as the
old record has it. His will gave the homestead to his son Joseph, with
