Economics
Economic data, analysis, and information is readily available
on the Web from both primary (the federal
government) and secondary sources. A plethora of financial
information sites contain economic news items (including, but
not limited to, the words of Alan Greenspan, economic indicator
releases, and economic commentary). Hard-core economic data can
be had both currently and historically and time series are even
available.
The Dismal Scientist and Bank
One have a broad, deep range of economic-related information
and are an excellent sites. STA Research
and Economagic
are also great sources.
In addition to the resources listed below, economic data and information
can also be obtained from various U.S.
federal government Web sites such as the Federal Reserve Board
of Governors and member banks, the Department of Commerce, Bureau
of Economic Analysis, etc...
