Legal Education and Resources

When researching for this section I came to realize that due to lack of experience I don't really have a good idea what types of legal information and resources will best fit my personal research needs. Keeping this in mind, I've selected a variety of resources ranging from the technical (full text of laws and court decisions) to the practical (definitions of legal terms and situations in plain language). Please remember that legal advice is one area where you generally get what you pay for and all of these sites are free.

FindLaw has excellent format and content and rates somewhere between the technical and the practical. Nolo.com and FreeAdvice.com both arrange practical information in a searchable, encyclopedic format.
