Links and Search Engines
This section is devoted to sites with financial and economic
links as well as to search engines (to find your own links!).
Many of the sites listed represent resources that I comb when
searching for sites to include in Financial Resources on the
Internet.
There are so many finance-related sites on the Web that nearly
every listing of links is a bit different; each webmaster brings
a different purpose and set of experiences to the creation of
their site and thus creates a site with an unique outlook. Thus
I don't truly believe that any site is either the "best"
site (for all users) or is really complete.
The Dow Jones Business Directory
and Resources for Economists on the Internet
are both excellent sites for links. I'd start with these two and
go from there.
Most search engines have categorized lists of links that are
easy to use when you're not sure exactly what it is you're looking
for. My favorite search engine is AltaVista.
Maybe I'm old fashioned, but it does seem to give me the best
results. If AltaVista fails I go to
Yahoo.
