Table of ContentsMortgage Rates and Real Estate

Just as it's easy to obtain insurance quotes on the Internet, it's easy to obtain mortgage quotes. Gee, I wonder why??? Regardless, it is useful to be able to compare mortgage rates and terms from the privacy of your own home before confronting a lender. Additionally, education about mortgages, purchasing a home, or renting are always helpful as few people do any of these things frequently. From an investing point of view, the ability to research national and local housing markets and related rates can be a tremendous resource.
Mortgage.Interest.Com is a good place to start looking for data and educational information. They aren't a mortgage provider and thus are likely to be less biased than information providers who butter their bread by providing mortgages.
