These simple Onasburg and rattail hangings (8" by 10") are part of a gift set for my grandparents that will, when completed, include a hanging for each month of the year. My grandparents now live in an apartment building and use the hangings (and other similar items) to personalize thier "front door." An added bonus for the apartment dwellers is the ease of storage--a whole set can be stored flat in a drawer in less space than a sweater.
All hangings are suspended from an 18" piece of natural-colored rattail (not shown). The embroidery desings are from the Studio Bernina Debbie Mumm card #113, Brother/Deco #28 (Christmas), Brother/Deco card #8, (holidays), and Brother/Deco card #31 (large florals).
