An overview (before stitching of the side seams):
The vest is made entirely of undyed, unbleached fabrics. I started out with the "folded star" (instructions from Tucks Textures & Pleats by Jennie Rayment) found at center back.
The "origami twist" blocks at the bottom of the back are from the same book.
The vest is fully lined with a cotton twill. The 1/2" wide binding is of Onasburg and has been hand caught to the lining for an invisible finish.
