This log cabin style block is on the back of a t-shirt. The fabrics are hand-dyed cottons from Bozeman, MT with an embroidery design done on a Bernina Artista 180.
The moose t-shirt was done on a Bernette Deco 600 by embroidering the moose on navy Ultrasuede and then using a built-in frame to applique the Ultrasuede rectangle to the shirt. After the stitching was complete I trimmed away the excess Ultrasuede just outside the frame pattern. The shirt is washable in cold water and can be put in a low temperature dryer.
This shirt was done on a Bernina Artista 180, just after the machine was introduced. I reduced the size of the designs until three would fit in one hooping as well as adjusted the design density for better coverage.
