Come from your side to press into the hip crease. Allow student to rest arm on leg. For larger hips use the toe press and for smaller hips, place the side of the foot into the hip crease.

Allow the student's arm to come to the left side of the teacher's body. Support the student's forward leg with your own leg placed below the upper thigh. Be firm in standing behind student so they can lean into you and not fall over. Take your hands and guide the torso into twisting or guide open the top shoulder. Help student up before moving the support of your legs.

Have student put the strap around hip crease. Come into triagngle either using the hand on a wall or not. Teacher pulls on the strap to help guide hip back, or if the student is pulling hips out of proper alignment, pull one side of the strap more and instruct student to follow the guide of the strap to correct hip alignment.

Very gently just rotate the thigh and then remove hands. This is just to help student be aware of thigh rotation.

Triangle pose going the opposite way. Hips just barely touching. Hand of partner goes in the soft crease of shoulder rather than on the bone. If you put more firm pressure on the partner's shoulder, you open more in the font and feel it in the back

Be firm in stance behind the student's shoulders. Press hand into torso as you guide to lengthen arm and shoulder. Instruct student to contract torso into your hand.
