Jan 29, 2006. Picture looking down from the top deck. Once again,
the top deck is set back (narrower) by three inches from the lower deck. The EasyDCC main control panel can be seen peeking from under the lower deck.
Notice too that two of the triangular gussets near the back have been cut so that buildings can be butted up against the backdrop (a bloody-knuckle task).
That will be the cement plant site. |

blocks in which the Tortoise is screwed to. |

Mar 17, 2006. All the drywall on the second deck is in place, mudded,
and painted. I'm using Sherwinn Williams #6505 "Atmospheric" as the lighter blue and SW #6506 "Vast Sky" as the darker blue above. Upper deck
is only painted in the lighter blue. Other paints I've heard of being used include: WalMart Blue Chiffon, Sears #248 Beverly Blue, Martha Stewart #8302
Heavenly Blue, and Sherwinn Williams Oslo Blue. |

Mar 25, 2006. Olympia is starting to look more like a model railroad.
Buildings based on Art Curren's "Corner Full of Industry" MR article are seen in the back. Alber's Milling is the white building. The cold storage, acting as
a stand-in, actually goes in Yakima. Float yard and team track are in the foreground.
