HOW MUCH CAN LLAMAS CARRY

We have large llamas and during the fall when it is cooler we pack from 150 to 120 pounds on our big packing studs and geldings. During the summer, we usally put 75 - 85 pounds on most of our llamas, and up to100 pounds on our biggest boy. The topic is covered in our book.

Several of the llamas in our pack string weigh between 400 and 500 pounds.
