Some of the information from these pages is available in a no-copy-required-for-submission version. Unfortunately, that version does not yet include surname or masculine given name information. However, an early version of the feminine name information was published:

Proceedings of the Knowne World Heraldic and Scribal Symposium, St. Louis, Missouri: Barony of Three Rivers, Kingdom of Calontir, June 5-8, 2003, pp. 5-29.

You may purchase the entire proceedings from the SCA publishers, if they ever get everything from Free Trumpet Press integrated into their inventory. Or you may email a request to Yin Mei Li (valerie_lee at ida dot net) for a copy of, or information from, the article.

The article includes some background information and tabulated lists of feminine given names from history and from period literature.  The names from history include:

94 with native characters, Romanized characters, and translations (an earlier version of feminine name list 1, "Historical Feminine Names with Their Native Characters");
40 with Romanized characters, but no native characters or translations (an earlier version of most of feminine name list 2,"Other Historical Feminine Names"); and
3 with translations, but no native or Romanized characters (an earlier version of some of feminine name list 2, "Other Historical Feminine Names").

The names from period literature (an earlier version of feminine name list 3, "Feminine Names from Fiction") include:

10 with native characters, Romanized characters, and translations;
18 with Romanized characters, but no native characters or translations; and
35 with translations, but no native or Romanized characters.

The article also includes a tabulated list of characters of which one should be cautious when seeking feminine given names (an earlier version of, "A Caution About Some Chinese Characters and Feminine Names"
