The Chinese character font is PMingLiu, an Unicode and MS Unicode font. These characters will probably appear as rectangular boxes if you do not have an appropriate font set. There are several websites from which you can download an appropriate font, each with its advantages and significant disadvantages. Just don't believe any claims about universal compatibility. However, you do not need the characters to document a registerable Chinese name or, hopefully, to understand the English text.

Even if you cannot see them, in many cases you can cut-and-paste the characters here into an on-line dictionary to get translations for individual characters and, sometimes, for entire names. One such dictionary is "The MDBG free online chinese english dictionary," at http://www.mdbg.net/chindict/chindict.php.

Traditional Chinese written characters are used here because they seem more consistent with SCA recreation. (Simplified fonts are fairly modern.)

The Chinese characters are actually written left to right on a horizontal line because they are sometimes included within a sentence of English text. Where practical in tables, the characters are listed in a single, one-character-wide column to make them appear in their traditional format.
